Privacy Policy (GDPR)
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy outlines how personal data is collected and processed on ekomono.com in accordance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The Data Controller responsible for processing your personal data is Roxane Uffren (hello@ekomono.com).
2. Personal Data Collected
In accordance with data minimization principles, ekomono.com is designed to collect as little personal data as possible:
- For general enquiries, the only personal data collected is what you voluntarily choose to provide when clicking "Send a message" (which opens your personal email client) or when revealing the phone number to make a call.
- For recruiters and agencies specifically, a dedicated enquiry form (built with Tally, a third-party form provider — see Section 4) collects your name, organisation, phone number, and message.
- This data typically includes: your email address, name, phone number, organisation, and the contents of your message.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
Data provided voluntarily via email or phone is strictly used to:
- Respond to your inquiries or business requests.
- Discuss prospective freelance projects or professional opportunities.
- Draft quotes and contracts directly under the Ekomono business registration (where applicable).
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
Your personal data will never be sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. In the event of an active freelance collaboration, client details required for contract management and billing are processed directly by the Data Controller.
Enquiries submitted through the Recruiters & Agencies form are processed by Tally (tally.so), a third-party form provider acting as a data processor on our behalf. Tally may store submitted data on its own servers in accordance with its privacy policy, available at tally.so/help/privacy-policy.
5. Data Retention
Your contact details and correspondence will be stored for as long as necessary to handle your request or manage an active client relationship. In the absence of an ongoing business relationship, your data will be permanently deleted within 3 years of our last communication.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The Site ekomono.com uses the following tracking technologies:
- Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics tool that records anonymized usage data (clicks, scrolling, session recordings, and heatmaps) to help understand how visitors use the Site. Clarity may place cookies on your browser to distinguish visitors across sessions.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking pixels are used, and no personal data collected via Clarity is sold or used for marketing purposes.
- Tally, used to power the Recruiters & Agencies enquiry form, may set its own functional cookies necessary for the form to operate correctly.
- Only essential technical cookies required for website hosting, security, and stability (via Hostinger) may also be temporarily generated without requiring prior consent.
7. Your Rights under the GDPR
Under European data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, request erasure of, or restrict the processing of your personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, please send your request by email to: hello@ekomono.com.
